Bio-organic odour neutraliser

Product Information.

A powerful bio-organic odour neutraliser with unique catalytic action. Exclusive formulation works by speeding up the biological processes that cause organic matter to biodegrade. Specialised surfactants trap odour compounds, enabling a blend of pre-formed enzymes to break them down. Provides rapid relief from the most pungent foul smells, including those associated with wastewater sludge, waste recycling and transfer, composting and landfill operations.

Easy to apply.

Widely used in misting and fogging systems to help prevent odour formation in wastewater treatment plants, landfill sites and any area that produces malodours. Simply dilute with water before use.

More cost-effective than traditional deodorisers.

Produces excellent results at low concentrations. Automatic dosing equipment can be supplied to avoid waste through overdosing or spillage.

Safe to use.

Harmless to humans, animals and the environment. They are 100% bio-degradable and no special handling equipment or precautions are required.

Leachate Neutraliser

The Leachate Neutraliser is a unique product that neutralises leachate odours on contact. Pongon Lagoon is a liquid that can be added directly to a leachate lagoon and Pongon Patrol can be sprayed directly onto contaminated areas (or leachate puddles) to eliminate the odours.

Pongon is made from a complex mixture of fragrances and essential oils, extracts from plants, leaves, trees, flowers, fruit and other natural ingredients. The product is non-toxic, so is not harmful to the environment.

The product is applied when bad odours arise from a lagoon and produces immediate results. It reacts on a molecular level to bind and neutralise odours in both liquid and air. The natural substances contained in the product react with odours and gases causing the chemical destruction of the odours.

Odour neutralisers for extreme or specific problems.

CAS- FD odour neutraliser can be sprayed manually on any ground or substance that is emitting odour, it can also be added to a water bowser and applied to large areas. It has been extremely successful in banishing odours from food waste that had been stored in bins for up to two weeks; FD has also been used successfully in neutralising odours from landfill gas wells. Odours were neutralised immediately.

CAS-FCG, CHR and ECO are specially formulated for misting or fogging applications.

CAS-LCH is applied directly to leachate or injected into leachate tanks prior to treatment.

CAS- LCH has an immediate effect on odours produced from leachate, waste water or sewage sludge. For extreme airborne odours, this odour neutraliser can be diluted at >1000:1 and atomised into the air.

CAS- Oil is designed for the reduction or neutralisation of odours from hydrocarbons, this product has been used to neutralise waste oil odours from offshore oil platforms and contaminated soil from redundant gas works. It has also been atomised through a high-pressure misting system in an oil refinery as well as in waste transfer stations where there have been specific problems.

CAS-GW is primarily used for odour control in wastewater and is injected directly into the water stream.

The Neusol Neutraliser Range of Products:

This range of natural products is non-toxic and not harmful to the environment, they will not bleach clothes or burn skin. They will however neutralise malodours when applied correctly.

Unlike traditional odour control systems that rely on masking agents and disguise the smell in the air, CAS odour neutralisers use a reactive mechanism based mainly on the chemical destruction of odours and will neutralise the odour.

Neutraliser application will depend on the source of the odour to be treated. There are products available to atomise into the air where the source of odour cannot be reached or treated directly. We prefer to treat sludge or surface residues at source for the most effective odour control. When neutralisers are added to sludge or landfill waste at the source, the product has a residual effect. For example, the neutraliser will continue to work on any liquid that may be returned to the inlet of, say a sewage treatment works or leachate lagoon after treatment, or on waste that has already been covered.

Prior to specific applications, site trials are usually conducted in order to find the approximate rate of application. We say approximate because in a real-life operational process, there are variables and the application rate may have to be adjusted up or down to achieve a neutral point. Gas levels can be monitored on a before and after basis and the data logger results are presented for analysis.

Sewage treatment.

We have a variety of products available, including surface residue treatment, bottom sludge treatment and a sludge treatment product that exhibits excellent sludge penetration and in some cases cleaning of pipes, it is naturally non-corrosive and non-aggressive.

New to the market is the Bio-Block and FOG treatment for the elimination of fat oil and grease in sewer networks.

Leachate lagoons.

LX is applied directly to the leachate or injected into the leachate tanks prior to treatment for zero odours.

Landfill sites.

Odour neutraliser can be sprayed manually on any ground that is emitting odour or added to a bowser and towed along and sprayed if the area to be treated is too large for the previous method.

Waste transfer stations.

Neusol FD. This can be applied topically to odorous material to prevent the escape of odours. A recent installation has proved extremely successful in banishing odours from food waste that had been stored in bins for up to two weeks. The results were immediate and impressive.
